Halal Education
In Islam, permissible (HALAL) and forbidden (HARAM) start with the teachings of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, and the Hadith, the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad. Quran 2:168 mentions about halal and haram as follows: "O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy." Muslims eat and drink what is halal, permitted by God, according to the word of Allah (God). Therefore, halal is everyday life and the essence of life itself for Muslims. Halal certification has expanded from food to food additives, beverages, cosmetics, health supplements, pharmaceuticals, household items, tourism, logistics, and more. The halal market is already showing an annual growth rate of more than 10%, and the export value of our country's products to the Islamic world has already exceeded 1 billion dollars. This incredible growth rate is expected to increase even faster in the future. Moreover, halal certification will become a necessity, not a choice, to cater to Muslim consumers.
